Moo Two Designs Gallery - Making Music

One of the things very important that I got from my grandpa and dad is love for music. They both played in the Salvation Army band, my grandfather was bandmaster for over 50 years. I love to play the timbrel, thats me in the Rose Parade, and I love to sing. I also know how to play the trumpet and alto horn, and a little bit of the piano.

Some of the challenges I did for scrapbooking this month had some funny quotes. Here are the LO’s I did for them. The quote for the first one reads: "When confronted with a bad situation sometimes the best solution is ...Take a NAP!

You might want to come over to MooTwo and check out the challenges. This month for the quote/Scripture challenge you can use one of these for your LO

Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.
Psalm 37:24
From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
Psalm 113:3
Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.

March 15 to April 14

Come and join me at MooTwo for the Shack Out Back Quote/Scripture Challenge. This month we are using a quote from Confucius. It might seem strange, but I was inspired to use the quote while watching a little one learning to walk. The quote is Our only glory is not in never falling, but in rising each time we fall. Scrap&PrayAllDay

First let me say that my Mother in Law Beth Bentley has gone home to be with the Lord Jesus and will be greatly missed. She was a talented piano player and had played for the Salvation Army for a very long time. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and the family was quite close. She loved the Lord first and foremost and that brings comfort. I and my husband and daughter were all fortunate in that with the help of my family, we all were there for the memorial. My husband and daughter were able to go before she passed on, and they were able to say their good by’s.

Now for some good news. The scrapbook site I am on the CT team for is having a great sale. This week our featured "designer" is the Moo Two Team. Wow I just realized it had been 6 weeks since I had been on here. I have been busy getting Christmas sign ups done at the Salvation Army. I have been scrapbooking and wanted to share a few LO’s with you. The first one I did for the quote/Scripture challenge I am in charge of at MooTwo. Here is the LO.

Can you believe summer is gone?

Wow I can’t believe it is autumn all ready. The trees are turning yellow, orange, and red. The cool crisp air has returned, and the leaves are falling. We have moved to a bigger place and are getting settled. I know it will be nicer especially for my husband because both cars fit under the carport now. No more cleaning the snow off.

We have started the “40 days of love” at church. I am hoping that it will bring us all closer as a family in Christ. It is very interesting, based on the book called “the relationship principles of Jesus” by Tom Holladay. It is by Rick Warren, the author or Purpose Driven Life.

I have been trying to catch up on scrapbooking from moving, and have gotten a few LO’s done. Here are a few to show you.
