Scrap&PrayAllDay

First let me say that my Mother in Law Beth Bentley has gone home to be with the Lord Jesus and will be greatly missed. She was a talented piano player and had played for the Salvation Army for a very long time. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and the family was quite close. She loved the Lord first and foremost and that brings comfort. I and my husband and daughter were all fortunate in that with the help of my family, we all were there for the memorial. My husband and daughter were able to go before she passed on, and they were able to say their good by’s.

Now for some good news. The scrapbook site I am on the CT team for is having a great sale. This week our featured "designer" is the Moo Two Team. For one week only you can get all the Collabs, Megas, QP's, Brag Books, etc. created jointly by our Design Team for only $15! This includes all the PU, CU & S4H collabs - 75 products in all! Click on the image to be taken to the sale page.

Wow I just realized it had been 6 weeks since I had been on here. I have been busy getting Christmas sign ups done at the Salvation Army. I have been scrapbooking and wanted to share a few LO’s with you. The first one I did for the quote/Scripture challenge I am in charge of at MooTwo. Here is the LO.

Can you believe summer is gone?

Wow I can’t believe it is autumn all ready. The trees are turning yellow, orange, and red. The cool crisp air has returned, and the leaves are falling. We have moved to a bigger place and are getting settled. I know it will be nicer especially for my husband because both cars fit under the carport now. No more cleaning the snow off.

We have started the “40 days of love” at church. I am hoping that it will bring us all closer as a family in Christ. It is very interesting, based on the book called “the relationship principles of Jesus” by Tom Holladay. It is by Rick Warren, the author or Purpose Driven Life.

I have been trying to catch up on scrapbooking from moving, and have gotten a few LO’s done. Here are a few to show you.

Scrap&PrayAllDay

Do you believe it is June already. The last week of May was quite busy. We celebrated Anniversary week with our youth groups at the Salvation Army. We went on a hike on Tuesday and toured the Tsunami Warning center on Friday. It is one of 2 that are in the United States. After the tour we went back to the church for a movie, the kids chose to watch Snow Buddies. Thursday was our Home League trip and we drove to Sheep Mountain Lodge for lunch and stopped back at the Matanuska Glacier on the way home. I have finished a LO using a lovely dainty kit called Tatianna by GaPScraps aka Gail P at MooTwo.  Here is my LO of my Great Grandma Skiff.
