Scrap & Pray All Day

Wow how the time flies

It has been so long since I have been on my blog. I have been volunteering at my church, The Salvation Army Mat-Su Valley corps, since July. I am hoping it will work into a part time job because things are so tight. I have been scrapbooking and reading email in my spare time. Here are a few LO’s I have done recently

Moo Two Designs Gallery - Making Music

One of the things very important that I got from my grandpa and dad is love for music. They both played in the Salvation Army band, my grandfather was bandmaster for over 50 years. I love to play the timbrel, thats me in the Rose Parade, and I love to sing. I also know how to play the trumpet and alto horn, and a little bit of the piano.

Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.
Psalm 37:24
From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
Psalm 113:3
Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.

March 15 to April 14

Come and join me at MooTwo for the Shack Out Back Quote/Scripture Challenge. This month we are using a quote from Confucius. It might seem strange, but I was inspired to use the quote while watching a little one learning to walk. The quote is Our only glory is not in never falling, but in rising each time we fall. My LO for the challenge:

First let me say that my Mother in Law Beth Bentley has gone home to be with the Lord Jesus and will be greatly missed. She was a talented piano player and had played for the Salvation Army for a very long time. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and the family was quite close. She loved the Lord first and foremost and that brings comfort. I and my husband and daughter were all fortunate in that with the help of my family, we all were there for the memorial. My husband and daughter were able to go before she passed on, and they were able to say their good by’s.

Now for some good news. The scrapbook site I am on the CT team for is having a great sale. This week our featured "designer" is the Moo Two Team. For one week only you can get all the Collabs, Megas, QP's, Brag Books, etc. created jointly by our Design Team for only $15! This includes all the PU, CU & S4H collabs - 75 products in all!
